When the first established of IPK?
IPK is a 4th institute in UMT that was established on 1st December 2013. IPK is a thinking and research institute that include Centre for Socioeconomic Development, Centre for Kenyir Ecosystem Centre and Kenyir Research Station.

Where is the location of IPK?
The main IPK building located in UMT campus in Kuala Terengganu.

What is the aim of IPK?
Aspiration of UMT in fulfilling the state government’s commitment to make Kenyir Lake a top “nature tourism destination”  in addition to being a model of rural development from the perspective of environmental sustainability and social welfare.

What are the facilities provided in IPK?
IPK provided the appropriate infrastructure as a research institute. IPK will provide facilities like Kenyir Research Station that have research facilities such as laboratories and also accommodation for researchers and students when carry out research in Kenyir Lake.

Is IPK offer postgraduate studies?
Yes, IPK offers postgraduate studies.

What is the language that have been use in IPK?
Language that have been use in IPK is Malay and English.
