A workshop on Writing and Preparing the Publication of a Coffee Table Book was organized by the Centre for Socioeconomic Development (CSD), Kenyir Research Institute (IPK). This was held to expose researchers to the steps involved in preparing a document like writing, compiling, photographs and others to meet the standards required to publish a luxury book or coffee table book.

This program was held on 15 April 2015 (Wednesday) from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm at Quinara Al Safir Resort, Kuala Terengganu. The main objective of this program is to expose researchers in writing of coffee table book and assist the researchers to produce a coffee table book based on research in CSD.

The workshop which took four hours, started with a briefing on the research by Acting Director of CSD, Dr. Roslina Ismail. Then, Prof. Madya Dr. Noraien Binti Mansor, Director of Penerbit UMT gave a speech regarding the format of writing and preparing the publication of Coffee Table Book and gave her view on the presentation of research findings by the researchers. A total of 25 researchers, 5 staff UMT and 4 research assistants have been involved in this program.
