Dr. Amirrudin bin Ahmad, Program Chair of Conservation Science Research, Kenyir Research Institute, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, speaks about Distribution and conservation of mahseer in Malaysia.
He says the two Tor species is highly priced table species and is never released, it is important to start conservation efforts before it gets critical.
The two prominent species are Tor tambra and Tor tambroides.
